MANNER OF ASKING QUESTIONS AND SEEKING KNOWLEDGE :

Bismillahirahmani Raheem

Our Grand Shaikh, the real Gause (head of all Qutub) of the time, Sultanul Awliya Mawlana Shaikh Nazim Al Haqqani An-Naqshbandi Al-Hassani ar-Rabbani (q.s) says that, when you are asking, say ‘Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem ‘, when you are seeking say, ‘Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem ‘. That is the straight path.

When you talk to tour Muslim brother, say ‘salam alaikum ‘,. Humble yourself by saying ‘bismillah ‘

All other ways of asking and seeking is in the mode of materialism! , it does not matter if you are claiming to be a murid in the way of Jilani, Rifai, Tijani, or Naqshbandi!

What comes out from you expose your own reality. You can recite millions of Zikr in the tarikat and feel that you are better than people who are not following tarikat or shaikh!

But when you don’t have manners, your Zikr and worship goes out from your BOOK of deeds just as the water drain out from a bucket with holes! The more holes (lack of manners you have) the more your good deeds wipe out from your account!

So when you come to those who are appointed by the LORD of Heavens, you must observe good manners and conduct.  The people of spiritual authority to be respected and followed, people of the House of the prophet (a.s) to be loved and respected. This the matter established in the Quran and Hadith and upheld by all the pious Imams of the Muslims.

So when you approach Awliya Allah or Ahlul Bayt to ask or to question them, do not be a fool, following your own egoistic ideas. You may feel for some time that you have been very  and smart to speak or ask disrespectfully to those whom Allah Almighty orders you to be respectful of.

But real saints and real Shaykhs who are Imams and grand shaykhs of Tarikat saying: respect the Maqams that Allah has Placed among you. First the two weighty things, the Book of Allah and Ahlul Bayt, the people of the Book of Allah (the Awliya Allah and Imams of Islam), If you disrespect these Maqams, then you will be a loser in the end.

O many of you have the school boy level idea that the Maqams are those concrete structures in the Muslim cemetery. That’s just plasters and bricks came from the shops of unbelievers or from atheists made in China. The true Maqam is what Allah Almighty Created by Himself, then what the Prophets are brought or constructed, then what the Awliya Allah has constructed. But you people have constructed Maqams made of Chinese materials  and Roman marbles.

So Ghause Al Azam (q.s) in his young age, while going to meet Ghause of that time Hz Abu Yaqub Yusuf Al Hamadani (q.s),  and he is praying: Ya Rabb, protect me from falling to any inappropriate  thoughts when I enter in the presence of Khwajah Yusuf Al Hamadani.

Nabi (a.s) honouring his daughter Hazret Fatima (a.s) , Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (a.s) for the Maqams they have in the presence with his LORD. Hz Nabi Yaqub (a.s) honouring his one son Sayydina Yusuf (A.S) more than the other sons, because that one has special honour in the divine presence. So you must be a khalifa or murid or even Shaykh of your Tarikat, but there will be people appointed by the LORD of Heavens,  everyone have different levels of Maqam and Honour in the Divine Presence. You must acknowledge and respect that,  otherwise you only fool yourself.  Thats how Shaitan was fooled, he had a high Maqam, but he could not see the Maqam of Hz Adam (a.s), so the other one lost his Maqam.  So many saints lost their Wilayat because they didn’t give the respect to Ghause Al Azam.  Those ones  who were wali at that time saw, a junior Shaykh in their midst , did not acknowledge the higher Maqam of Ghause Al Azam, so they lost their Sainthood.

Even in this days, things will happen the same way, so many Shaykhs will be removed from their Shaykhood, clarity will enter into this world, when Hz Mahdi (a.s) and Hz Isa (a.s) appears. Till then people and their leaders will follow some level of confusion and disorder.

So Awliya Allah saying: be with Awliya Allah and Ahlul Bayt, be young or small , in good manners.  Even if you don’t like their words or deeds , then be patient with them. Patience is that unspoiled treasure which makes you a winner. You are all the time in Masjids and Islamic Universities, hosting events, organising conferences and classes,  but you haven’t learned about basic Islamic morals and manners.

So the pious Imams and scholars, even if they were very old and very learned, they are very careful when they deal with Ahlul Bayt, even if they are young or small compared to the age or knowledge of the Imams and leaders.
Now, this days, we have Sufi groups without Tasawwuf (Spirituality of Islam) just as the other groups who call “salafis” without the “Salaf Salih” and their virtues in it.  It is the day, we learn to observe the meaning given in Sura Al Kahf and Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (a.s), to isolate from all this misguided sects and groups, egoistic and fintah making gatherings and people.
O yes, we make couple of love events in the name of loving prophet and ahlul bayt, on Mawlid Nabi, Karbala day etc etc, with some amount of crocodile tears and staged expression of love.  Most of this days religious activities doesn’t come from Gnosis (Marifa) based truth (Haqiqat)  Sincerity (Ikhlas) or spirituality , but from the ego, from the customs of the people who inherited it from those who did it spiritually in older days, or just to show off everyone is doing some spiritual practice. Most of this events are social and psychologically manifested.  Today, everyone’s mind is their religion. The religion in the real of ego or intellect.  I can’t co-exist with it. So I moved out from the associations and groups who are bound to this realm!.
